Lorna Crosse ARCT
Lorna has a few vacancies for new singing students. She trained at the Royal Conservatory of Music, University of Toronto, and was the Gold Medallist with the highest marks in the Dominion of Canada the year she graduated. She is a well-known guest soloist throughout Great Britain and has sung oratorios with many choral societies both here and in Canada. She believes in teaching a sound technique of well supported and relaxed tone. Her students study every style from jazz through opera to pop and music theatre, and they learn to colour the voice accordingly. This ensures a safe and long-lasting use of the voice. She teaches students of all abilities and backgrounds. Lorna’s practice of 50 pupils is often full, but she will be glad to put you on a waiting list .She teaches from her home- based studio as well as some local schools, and is a sensitive and well respected teacher. Lessons are 30 minutes in length and are paid for in advance in sets of 5 for £85 or 10 for £165. A test lesson is advisable and is £25. These prices are reviewed every April. |
